Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital is partnering with Attwood Marshall to deliver a Community Will Day in Byron Bay.

Get a professional Simple Will at a 70% discounted rate with all proceeds from the booking being directed to Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital. A Simple will is usually $550 AUD, but on Community Wills Day you’ll have access to this Simple Will service for $125 for a single and $200 for a couple.

Appointment slots are 30 minutes to sign and discuss your Will which is prepared in advance from the details provided in your questionnaire.

The small print

Read the Terms and Conditions below to ensure a Simple Will is for you & some more information about this Community Wills Day.

  • The service is for a Simple Will. A Simple Will is generally:

    • Couples: Partners are appointing each other as executors and leaving their estate to each other. In the event that they both pass, appointing a substitute executor/s and leaving their estate equally between their children/ dependants. A simple will can also include a small legacy for the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital.

    • Single: Appointing an executor and substitute executor. Leaving their estate equally between their children/ dependants. In the event of no children/dependants, then to a maximum of 4 beneficiaries. A simple will can also include a small legacy for the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital.

    A Simple Will does not include advice around BDBN, SMSF, Companies, Family Trusts or Family Provision advice. It does not include multiple beneficiaries with difference percentages/gifts. It does not include a right to reside. If the Will is outside the scope of what the lawyer seems simple, then we will quote the client our fees as a private client and deduct any fees paid to the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital for Wills Day.

    • Book your time-slot for Community Wills Day and pay the booking fee for a Single or Couple depending on your circumstances.

    • You must complete and submit your online questionnaire on or before Thursday the 17th of October. This will be emailed to you with your booking confirmation.

    • You must bring photo identification to the appointment as you need to be formally identified. A drivers license or passport will be adequate. Atwood and Marshall will take a copy of your identification as part of the Will process.

    • Atwood and Marshall will call you prior to Wills Day to confirm your instructions from the questionnaire. This is so that they can draft you Will/s and have them ready for signing on the day.

    • There are no refunds or exchanges for change of mind for having your Will prepared on Community Wills Day. As there is a limited number of bookings available, failure to complete the questionnaire or to appear on the day will forfeit the fees and no refund will be offered.

    • In the event that a Simple Will is not appropriate for your circumstances, Atwood and Marshall will provide a quote for their professional services and the booking fee will be deducted from this cost as a donation to The Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital. If the client does not accept this quote and does not wish to proceed a Refund will be offered as long as the Questionaire is returned by Thursday the 17th of October.
