The Wildlife Hospital
2024 was another record year for patients at The Wildlife Hospital. Our team has worked overtime to treat, care for and aid the recovery of 3038 patients, an increase of 13.5% on the previous year.
As the demand for expert veterinary services for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife increases each year, so does our need for new equipment, supplies and resources to provide the quality care native animals deserve.
Explore our below list of equipment our hospital needs to continue delivering outstanding and free veterinary care to wildlife. Our Wishlist
Vetario 30 ICU Series (small) This is to put sick animals in while in hospital. The enclosures are temperature controlled allowing us to tailor to specific patients. This size is created for particularly small patients. $750 - $810 each
Vetario S Eco ICU Series This is to put sick animals in while in hospital. The enclosures are temperature controlled allowing us to tailor to specific patients $1,330 - $1,750 each
Vetwrap Used to treat patients when they have broken bones and to protect wounds. $66 for a bulk buy of 12
Baxter IV Fluid 1L Hartmanns Solution We use these IV Fluids for delivering fluids to a range of patients. $6.95 per L bag
Carton of Nitrile Gloves These gloves are for veterinary staff to wear and keep safe when handling flying foxes as part of our PPE. $175 for a years supply
Boxes of 1ml syringes (new) These syringes enable us to give medicines to patients. We are going through our regular supply at the moment due to the influx of Rainbow Lorikeets suffering from Lorikeet Paralysis Syndrome. $22 for a box of 100.
