Official launch day highlights!

Australia’s largest Mobile Wildlife Hospital was officially launched at a sell-out fundraiser event attended by over 200 donors, philanthropists, conservation organisations, entertainers and celebrity guests in Byron Bay on Thursday evening 26th November 2020.

A live auction of unique collectables including items signed by Chris HemsworthIggy Pop, Pat Rafter, Tim Freedman and Bernard Fanning raised $50,000 for Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital’s ongoing operations.

The Mobile Wildlife Hospital is self-sufficient, equipped with solar power, satellite communications, its own water supply, waste storage, diagnostic, operating and patient recovery areas.

Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital will operate the $700,000 facility which can be driven to any wildlife crisis hotspot to treat, rehabilitate and care for native animals in distress. Ahead of Australia’s bushfire season, the need has never been greater.

Thank you to all of our partners, donors and supporters, without whom this momentous achievement would not have been possible.
