Meet Our Wildlife Friendly Vets

Between 177,580 and 355,160 injured wild animals are brought into NSW veterinary clinics every year. Vets don’t get paid to treat native animals and struggle to fit these cases in to busy days treating domestic pets and farm animals.

Funded by the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife through their Wildlife Heroes program, Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital's veterinary team present a series of training videos on assessing different species of wildlife, including frogs, macropods, native birds, flying foxes, seabirds and snakes

If you are a vet or vet nurse interested in treating wildlife, take a look at these training videos and sign up to the Wildlife Friendly Vet campaign to receive further resources and training opportunities here

If you simply love wildlife, these videos make for fascinating viewing!
