Matilda Moves In To Her New Home

Over the October long weekend, Matilda, Australia's largest Mobile Wildlife Hospital makes her way along the Pacific Coast of Australia to her permanent new home. From this location, powered by renewable energy, Matilda will continue to be the base for a full time staff of wildlife expert vets and nurses providing triage, treatment and care for sick and injured native animals, free of charge. The new location is at the Madamia Castle, a popular tourism attraction in the Byron hinterland. It has been realised through the generosity and support of philanthropic organisations and individuals and Wildlife Recovery Australia. Now our work begins, and we welcome the public and partner organisations to visit us and learn more about our vital work #forthewildlife.
