Australia’s largest Mobile Wildlife Hospital is coming!

Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital will launch its brand new Mobile Hospital to a capacity crowd at a fundraiser launch event in Byron Bay next month. On Thursday 26 November, the not-for-profit organisation will launch this incredible new facility dedicated to the treatment and rehabilitation of injured and traumatised wildlife. It has been made possible through the vision of a ‘dream team’ of Australian veterinarians, extraordinary support from wildlife conservation organisations, NGOs, philanthropists and supporters from Australia and around the world.

This will be a special night for our community, sponsors and supporters with entertainment, food and beverages from the amazing Northern Rivers region to celebrate this incredible good news story. Many businesses and individuals from Byron Shire’s business and creative community have donated unique, valuable and highly collectable items for auction to the highest bidder to raise funds for the Mobile Hospital’s ongoing operations.

We’re so incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. We know that unfortunately many can’t be with us, so we’ll be live streaming the event online so our friends and supporters can join us ‘virtually’ from anywhere in the world.” said BBWH Founder and CEO Dr Stephen Van Mil.

“There’ll also be an opportunity for people to participate in the auction via online bids,” continued Dr Steve.

“This is such an important mission we’re embarking on, but we’re also going to celebrate our achievements and have some fun at our fundraiser launch event. “

More details about how to join the launch event live stream will be communicated via Facebook, Instagram, email and right here on our website in the next few weeks.
