Tahnee is one of Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital’s newest team members, having graduated as a Wildlife & Domestic Veterinary Nurse at the end of 2022. Tahnee comes to us with a broad array of wildlife conservation experience, including working as a wildlife education officer, completing an internship in Nepal with the Jane Goodall Institute studying human-wildlife conflict, attaining a Bachelor of Zoology, and founding a conservation education organisation.
“I’m incredibly proud and honoured to be working as a vet nurse with the Byron Bay Wildlife Team, it’s honestly a dream come true! The animals we share this world with really need our help and support, and I hope that by being a nurse and advocate for them, I can make a positive difference in the efforts to conserve and protect them.”
Support our mission to conserve, protect & ensure positive welfare outcomes for Australian wildlife.
