Hailing from Wyoming, Dr Jade Maesta moved to Australia to answer a calling to work with Australian wildlife.
Dr Jade plays a vital role caring for sick, injured and orphaned native animals brought to Byron Bay WIldlife Hospital on weekends. Her expertise, experience and calm demeanour are critical to keeping our hospital services open 7 days a week.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Bundjalung Nation on which we live, play and work, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Elders past, present and emerging.
