Hayley is a vet nurse living a double life working in a local domestic veterinary clinic, while helping out with our beautiful wildlife too! She began her animal care career as a zoo keeper. She rose to become  Park Manager and enjoyed educating the public on the issues native fauna and flora are facing.

Hayley’s passion for animals and educating people saw her get swooped up by an avian, exotics and wildlife veterinarian who taught Hayley the beginning of her nursing skills at James Cook University in Townsville.

Hayley has absolutely loved returning to wildlife here at Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, in her local home base of the beautiful Northern Rivers.
