David is a professional project manager with 38 years international experience. During his career he has project managed developments in London, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Fiji and the Solomon Islands.

David specialises in sustainable and affordable housing developments for not-for-profit community housing providers, environmental projects such as recycled plastic collected from the ocean, beaches and rivers for affordable housing and master planning the transformation of Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital’s permanent home into state of the art wildlife sanctuary.

David attended the first public meeting re the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital and has been a keen advocate ever since using his deep network of development professionals.

He and his wife share their lives with a very cheeky energetic dingo pup called ‘Ernie’. Their property in Byron Shire is planted out with native plants to encourage local wildlife such as bandicoots, echidna, black cockatoos, wallabies, diamond pythons and koalas – all of which visit frequently!
